| ARTBOX Cafe Kitchen / Waiting staff - Part Time Position in Brighton |

ARTBOX is the UK’s dream destination for cute character goods, stationery and homeware, from Japan and Korea. ARTBOX Cafe is a new exciting venture from ARTBOX and will be the UK’s first permanent dedicated character cafe! We will offer a fully themed immersive snacking and shopping experience. Each character theme will last for a limited number of months before transforming into an exciting new theme.
ARTBOX is looking for kitchen staff and/or waiting staff to work in our amazing cafe in Brighton on weekends.
To fill this position we require a person with a passion for serving people and amazing customer service skills. Successful applicants will work alongside others to help create an exciting atmosphere for customers.

Responsibilities
The role will involve fulfilling food orders and waiting on customers.
As part of the store team you will be expected to help sustain an excellent standard of visual merchandising and branding throughout the store.
Required Skills and Attributes:

• Waiting and kitchen experience
• A great team player
• Reliable time keeping
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Great communication skills
• Well organised
• Neatly presented
• Natural sales skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK

| ARTBOX Events Assistant - Temporary Position |
|
ARTBOX is looking for reliable, passionate and attentive staff members to attend to our pop-up shops at London-based conventions and events. The individual is required to be confident in intense, fast-paced environments, have experience with retail and handling cash, and be adept at working as part of a team.
Applicants are required to be based in London, or have the ability to reach London venues for approximately 9am on each day that they are working.
The events for which we require staff are:
London MCM Comic Con, 25th - 29th October 2017
HYPER JAPAN Christmas Market, 24th - 26th November 2017
London MCM Comic Con, 26th - 27th May 2018
HYPER JAPAN Festival, TBA
Applicants are not required to be able to attend every event or the full duration of each event, however a higher level of attendance is preferred. Applicants who are successful in this job role will be invited to attend to our pop-up shops at events in subsequent years, and are more likely to be considered for other future ARTBOX opportunities.
